Facebook updating Group feature?

In what could be a wonderful gift to group users and administrators it seems that their might be a refresh happening within Facebook Groups, it seems only early as by hitting refresh the icon vanishes again.  I spotted this update earlier today when I noticed that the usual Groups icon shown had been updated to display a new smarter looking icon similar to Linkedin .  Nothing else is really know about this update and if it is just a icon update or a sign of a more substantial Group update following on from the redesign last October, which made it more similar to a Fanpage. Facebook groups are very similar to those offered within Linkedin and do present a wonderful opportunity for business and interest groups to better interact with their members online, but struggle to match the functions and bling factor of Fanpages.

The screenshot above shows the new look groups icon and how well it matches with the new Facebook interface, as the groups icon was one of the last original icons left.  As an admin on several Facebook groups and fanpages, it would be a welcome move if they updated some of the possible member data and insights to be more closely aligned with Fanpages, and the cosmetic change also helps the look of the sometimes struggling groups.
