It seems that even Facebook has joined the tech companies that have struggled to make it through the “leap second” issue with issues reported around the news module and now the site is offline.
Users are greeted with vague message
“Account temporarily unavailable
Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes.”
Update: It’s been more than a few minutes…
