David Iwanow is a global digital marketing leader with over 18 years of experience spanning SEO, ASO, paid search, and digital strategy. He co-authored Google Advertising Tools 2nd Edition with O’Reilly and holds a Business Marketing Degree from James Cook University.

His career has taken him from Melbourne to Amsterdam, London, and beyond — leading SEO and search functions at Marktplaats (eBay Classifieds), Schibsted as Global SEO Manager across 22 classified platforms, Danone overseeing 379 digital properties, and Reckitt as Head of Search for 800+ websites spanning brands including Dettol, Durex, Finish, Nurofen, and Strepsils.

In 2025, David returned to his roots by re-starting The Lost Agency — bringing enterprise-grade search strategy to clients as an independent consultant.

David is a passionate advocate for the search marketing community through conferences, events, and interviews with industry leaders.
